HYDROLOGY/ HYDRAULICS ENGINEER

Job Duties

• Lead, manage and grow the Hydrology/ Hydraulics Team

• Manage projects including budget, scope and schedule

• Coordinate with agencies, contractors, and consultants as needed to complete a project

• Develop hydrologic/ hydraulic analysis and designs

• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models

• QA/QC of designs and models

• Supervise and mentor staff

• Assist in new business development initiatives including preparing SOQ’s, maintaining and building existing client relationships, and preparing formal project proposals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)

• Texas Registered P.E.

• Minimum 10 years' experience in civil engineering and hydrologic/hydraulic design

• Excellent leadership skills

• Ability to build and maintain Client relationships

• Highly motivated to meet client deadlines

• Knowledge of standards for the various reviewing agencies in the Houston Metro area

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously

• Share in Blackline’s vision of making customer service a priority

Software

• HEC-RAS

• HEC-HMS

• XP-SWMM

• AutoCAD experience preferred

• Arc GIS preferred

• MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
