PROJECT MANAGER
This position is responsible for providing management of engineering projects including client coordination, plan production, supervisory engineering guidance, providing quality assurance and control, and construction management.

Job Duties

Design a range of water & wastewater facilities projects, such as lift stations, water plants, wastewater treatment plants, transmission/distribution/collection lines, and reclaimed water treatment/distribution facilities. Responsibilities vary by project. Typical projects extend from planning through project startup and inspection.

Prepare component sizing, design calculations, and engineering reports.

Provide quality control/assurance reviews of other’s work

Supervise and/or obtain regulatory agency approvals

Supervise and/or review other’s work on TPDES permit applications

Work among a team on a project or work independently

Identify work priorities and functions with minimal supervision

Supervise and work directly with EITs, PEs, Designers, and Technicians
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
-
Texas Registered P.E.
-
Minimum 7 years’ experience with Municipal Water and Wastewater systems planning and design is preferred
-
Ability to independently create detailed designs, plans, specifications, details, and estimates

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously

Knowledge of TCEQ, the City of Houston, and surrounding Counties Rules and Regulations

Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team and subconsultants preferred
