PROJECT ENGINEER-
PUBLIC WORKS

Job Duties

• Provide design, design guidance and QA/QC for public works projects including turn lanes, roadway expansions, drainage improvements, and water distribution and wastewater conveyance 

• Prepare project budget, scope, and schedule

• Coordinate with agencies, contractors, and consultants as needed to complete a project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)

• Texas Registered P.E.

• Minimum 4 years experience in municipal public works engineering

• Client focused and customer service oriented professional 

• Knowledge of local design standards for the various agencies in the Houston Metro area

Software​

• AutoCAD experience preferred

• MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
